HostLookup is a native Android DNS explorer powered by mhost.

Query 25 DNS record types, compare responses from predefined public resolvers,
and inspect individual records. Explore WHOIS, network prefixes, autonomous
system numbers, and location information for discovered IP addresses, including
nameserver and mail-server addresses.

The app uses a Material 3 interface with dynamic color on Android 12 and newer.
Android 8.0 or newer is required.

DNS queries are sent to mhost's predefined public DNS resolvers over UDP, TCP,
DNS-over-TLS, and DNS-over-HTTPS. UDP and TCP queries are unencrypted. Nameserver and mail-server address enrichment also uses the device's
configured DNS resolver. Network and location information is requested from
RIPEstat over HTTPS. Providers can see requests and your public IP address.
The public resolver list and RIPEstat service cannot be replaced in settings.

No ads, analytics SDKs, account, or HostLookup-operated server are used.

Connect to text games (MUDs), keep button panels on screen, and use triggers, aliases, timers, speedwalks, and Lua plugins. ANSI colors, GMCP, and background connections are supported.

This fork is aimed at current Android: builds that install, storage/backups that work again, a clearer input bar, session logs, and a few extras (eight-way swipe/hold/accordion buttons, .search, .wrap, GMCP helpers).

LocalSend Kotlin is an unofficial, lightweight native Android LocalSend client written in Kotlin. This project is not affiliated with or endorsed by the official LocalSend project. It aims to interoperate with the official LocalSend clients and provide secure file transfer on local networks, including older Android devices.

- Guest networks, AP/client isolation, multicast filtering, or vendor firewalls may prevent discovery or the TCP connection.

Storage:

- Android 10 and later uses MediaStore to save files to the public Downloads directory by default.
- Android 5.0 through Android 9 uses the Download/LocalSend Kotlin directory by default and requires legacy storage permission.

Current limitations include a less polished transfer queue interface, no browser-link receiving, no multi-threaded transfers, no large-file performance optimizations, and no resumable transfers. Android 4.x is not supported.

This is an Alpha project suitable for early-user testing. When reporting an issue, include the Android version, device model, both client versions, and reproducible steps.

The home screen keeps a short list of favourites under a clock and weather
widget. Everything else lives in an alphabetical app list you reach by swiping

Layout, icon pack, icon and text size, spacing, font and colours are all
adjustable, and an optional Now Playing widget shows current media.

textlog

A community-built client for textlog.cc, a small, text-first place to write short notes and follow the people and hashtags you care about.

The website already works on a phone. This exists because a community deserves a way in that belongs on the device: native scrolling, a live feed of new posts, threads you can follow with your thumb, and posts that render exactly as they do on the web. Nothing more. No algorithm, no metrics, no accounts of its own.

Reading
• The hot and latest feeds, plus a live firehose of new posts as they are written
• Nested threads you can fold, with a flat view for when five levels of indent is four too many on a phone
• A whole thread in one request, and threads kept for the session so going back costs nothing
• Feeds join a reply to its parent when both are on the page, so one conversation is one block
• Profiles, hashtag pages, and people and hashtags to explore

Posts render the way the site renders them
Inline and fenced code, LaTeX, markdown links, bold, underline, italics, strikethrough, redactions you press to reveal, quoted lines, spoilers, link previews, and ASCII art kept on its own line grid. Optional block markdown — headings, lists, tables — on top, for the structure the site keeps flat.

Notifications
Replies, mentions and follows, with a reply field and a mark-read button in the notification itself. textlog has no push endpoint an app can reach, so these come from a background poll: honest, and battery-cheap, but not instant. The setting says so rather than implying a schedule Android does not keep.

Made to be read
Light, dark, sepia and dracula themes, a choice of accent colour, three monospace faces and four text sizes. A barebones mode swaps every icon for a character and turns off ripples and animation, for a reader who wants the terminal and not the app.

No account of its own, and nothing phoning home
It talks to textlog.cc and nothing else. No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, and no Google Play Services — notifications are raised locally rather than through Firebase.

Signing up stays in a browser on purpose, because that is where the server keeps its abuse controls.

Free software under the GNU AGPL v3, the same licence as textlog itself.

Title Track

An Android recorder for music memos. Count yourself in at a tempo you choose, play, and if the third bar goes wrong hit Restart without looking. Takes are written as plain WAV files into a folder you pick, so they are on your phone's storage rather than locked inside the app.

Early-stage release — expect rough edges. Feedback and bug reports welcome via Issues.

While a take is being made

* Two buttons that matter — full-width, thumb-height Done and Restart. Done ends the take and saves it; Restart wipes it and counts you back in.
* Count-in — off, one bar or two, at a tempo you set, with an accented downbeat.
* A live waveform while you play — the last eight seconds as a scrolling peak envelope, drawn red near full scale so clipping is visible as it happens.
* Silent visual metronome — one dot per beat under the buttons, the lit one walking the bar, starting with the count-in. On by default because an audible click on a phone speaker ends up inside the take.
* A click through the take (optional, off) — for headphones, where there is nothing for the microphone to pick up.
* Listen before recording (optional, off) — draws what the microphone hears before you press Record, so mic distance is settled while it still costs nothing.
* A level test, not a guess — hold Record and play the loudest thing you will play; it reports the peak in dBFS and offers a gain that puts it at −9 dBFS.
* Recorded honestly — the least-processed microphone source the device offers, and unlike voice recorders no filtering of any kind.

Tuner

A third tab, in two faces. A needle, damped like a moving-coil meter so it settles rather than twitches while a peg is turning; and a strobe, two rings that come to a standstill when the string is in tune. There is no guitar/bass switch to set wrong: it names the nearest note across the whole range, with its octave. Equal temperament against A4 = 440 Hz: a guitar tuned on a pedal's sweetened preset will disagree by a few cents, and neither is wrong.

Your folder, your files

Pick any folder once — Music/Recording, an SD card, a synced folder; takes land there as 44.1 kHz mono WAV. Browse it in the app, make sub-folders, rename, move, star, share, delete, play back. The bpm you played to is written into the WAV itself as a LIST/INFO comment, so it survives being copied to a computer.

The player

Every take is drawn as a peak envelope in decibels — the same shape the record screen drew while you were playing. Touch anywhere on it to seek, drag to scrub, pinch to zoom in. WAV is read straight through; anything else the device can play is decoded and drawn just the same.

* Trim puts two handles on the waveform. A WAV cut to a WAV never decodes — the header is rebuilt and the selected bytes copied through, so what survives is exactly what was recorded.
* Level normalizes a quiet take in the file — Peak, which cannot distort, or Loudness, aiming at −14 dBFS RMS.
* Note attaches whatever the take needs saying about it: the chords, the words, what the idea was.

Both edits offer a choice when saving: overwrite the take, or save a lossless copy beside it as FLAC or WAV, tempo included.

Playback outlives the screen it started from — a mini player sits above the tabs wherever you are.

Languages

English and German, with a Language row in Settings. On Android 13 and up that is the per-app language in Android's own Settings.

Known limitations

* Recording stops if the app leaves the foreground — Android takes the microphone away from background apps. So keep your hands on the guitar.
* Mono only. Phone microphones are effectively mono.

Permissions

The microphone. No internet permission at all — the Support dialog's links open in your browser, which fetches in its own process.

License

GPL-3.0-only. The wordmark and the icon are CC BY 4.0; the name is not licensed, so a fork needs its own.

The Last Carrot is a small, self-contained lane tower defence game. It asks for no permissions at all, has no ads, no trackers, no analytics and no network access whatsoever. Everything it needs is in the app.

Eight towers
* Arrow - fast single target damage
* Ice - a hard slow on one target at a time
* Bomb - splash damage for tightly packed groups
* Moon - a wide, gentle slow that catches whole groups at once

Every tower upgrades three times, can be sold back for 65% of what you spent, and can be told which enemy to prefer: first along the path, strongest, or nearest.

Five kinds of enemy
Ordinary thieves, fragile sprinters, huge swarms, armoured ironhides that shrug off direct damage, and garden overlords that take a serious bite out of your carrot if they get through.

Twenty levels across five chapters
Garden Patch, Golden Fields, Night Woods, Frost Plains and Ember Crater — each chapter has its own palette, its own map layouts and its own new problem to solve. Pick a chapter, then follow a winding trail of levels, with your star rating on every stop you have already cleared.

Towers unlock as you go rather than all at once, and each one arrives just before the enemy it answers: ice before the sprinters, bombs before the swarms, poison before the armoured units, chain lightning before the big waves. Each level is scored one to three stars based on how much carrot you have left.

Breakable obstacles
Rocks, trees, mushrooms, ice blocks and crates sit around the map. Tap one to mark it and your towers will chip away at it whenever no enemy is in range, so clearing never costs you a leak. Breaking one pays gold and frees the tile to build on. Crates take the longest and pay the most. Sun, Moon and Rocket damage obstacles on their own, without being told.

Yahora is a minimalist event logger. You give a recurring event a name, and from
then on a single tap on its chip records the date and time it happened. No
intermediate screen, no confirmation dialog, no extra fields to fill in.

Most tracking apps grow into note-taking tools: nested categories, custom
fields, reminders, statistics. Yahora deliberately does not. A tag has a name
and a favourite flag; an entry has a timestamp. That is the entire model, and
the design goal follows from it — recording an event should cost one tap and
zero attention.

What it does

* Tag cloud — chips flow across the screen, each as wide as its name and all
sharing one type size, sorted alphabetically. Favourites are marked with a
star, which changes the emphasis but never the order.
* One-tap logging — a short tap records the current timestamp right away, with
a haptic tick as confirmation, and offers to undo it from its own snackbar.
* Long press for everything else — rename a tag, mark it as a favourite, or
browse its history. Actions that do not apply are hidden, not greyed out.
* History as a tree — months, then days, then the individual entries at
HH:mm:ss. Each branch says how many children it holds.
* Safe by construction — a tag that holds entries cannot be deleted, so a
history is never lost by accident.

Étagère browses a Calibre library stored on your own Nextcloud, shows the full record for every book, and downloads the files. It does not read books — that is your reading app's job, and you already have one you like.

What it does

* Signs in to Nextcloud through the browser, using a revocable app password
* Reads the Calibre catalogue and keeps it available offline
* Covers, authors, series, ratings, publisher, languages, tags, identifiers, descriptions

What it does not do

How it works

A Calibre library is a folder with a metadata.db catalogue and one subfolder per book. Étagère finds that file over WebDAV, downloads it once, and reads it locally. Covers and book files are fetched on demand, never in bulk. The catalogue is only re-downloaded when it has actually changed, so the app stays usable offline.

Sharing with an e-reader

Many e-readers can download a file from a web page but cannot read OPDS catalogues. Étagère turns the phone into a small web server on your local network, with pages designed for e-ink: no JavaScript, no thumbnails in lists, pure black on white, large tap targets. A single book can also be offered under a short address that is easy to type on an e-ink keyboard.

Traffic on that local server is unencrypted, since e-reader browsers rarely cope with anything else. Use it on a network you trust.

Requirements

A Nextcloud account and a Calibre library stored on it. Étagère does not create libraries; use Calibre on a computer for that.

EXIF Remove strips metadata from photos and videos before you share them, so you don't hand over your location, the time a photo was taken, or the device that took it.

Share files to EXIF Remove from any app, pick a template, and pass the cleaned copies on. Or open the app and pick files directly.

Templates control what happens to each category:

* Location (GPS): keep, remove or randomize
* Date and time: keep, remove or randomize
* Camera, software and author info: keep or remove
* Other metadata: keep or remove

Three built-in templates come ready to edit: Remove everything, Remove location only, and Scramble location and date. Add your own, set a default, and skip the picker to clean in one tap.

What gets cleaned

JPEG, PNG and WebP are cleaned without re-encoding, so the pixels are untouched. HEIC and AVIF are converted to clean JPEGs. Videos (MP4, MOV and 3GP) are cleaned in place, also without re-encoding, so even large recordings finish instantly.

XMP, IPTC, comments and embedded thumbnails are always removed. ICC color profiles are kept, so colors never change. Cleaned files can be given random names, because file names leak information too.

Phones also hide whole files after the end of an image: a motion photo's video, an Ultra HDR gain map, a second copy of the picture. Each carries its own record of where you were and what device you own. EXIF Remove drops those as well.

See what was removed

After each clean you get a report for every file: what was removed, what was kept, and what was hidden inside. Each cleaned image is then re-parsed from scratch and withheld if it cannot be proven free of metadata.

The built-in metadata viewer lets you inspect any photo or video yourself and preview exactly what a template would do to it.

No network access: the app does not request the internet permission, so Android blocks it at the system level. No tracking, no ads. Free software under the GNU GPL v3 or later.

0x54ask forks SimpleTask Cloudless. It provides passive perks: data safety, automerge, filesystem protection - and it never connects Internet, at all.

Todo.txt manager: context and tags

Context: You write down a task. If it was the only thing, what would be the next action? Drill a hole for picture? If the wall is in your home, you've got to do it there. Thus, @H (at home).

Tags: I'll be working on +linuxeu project for the next 5 hours. Show me all tasks I can bill on that. Thus, filter by +linuxeu.

Plain text: Todo.txt is - surprise - plain text. You can edit it with vim, emacs, micro or nano. Todo.txt and calendar.txt use the same +plustags and @Contexts.

Fully offline, or synchronize how you like.

0x54ask passive perks

What does the 0x54ask fork bring to the table? Data safety, better sync, smaller attack surface, modern interfaces. These benefits work passively. You don't have to do anything to use them.

Keeps your data safe. It automatically detects if todo.txt has been modified by other programs (such as text editor or syncthing). Modifications appear as soon as 0x54ask sees them. Changes are stored as soon as they are made. Current state of file is checked again.

Automatic merge. If a conflict is detected, 0x54ask can often automatically merge the changes. This is possible, because todo.txt is a line based format, and many changes appear in different lines. Main approach to auto merge is generic and works, no matter which program made the changes. There is additional support for automatic resolution of Syncthing conflicts. Special support is needed, because these sync conflicts can happen while 0x54ask is not running.

Filesystem protection: You can pick the directory where todo.txt is. This will be the only directory available for the app. This restriction is enforced by the operating system. The whole filesystem backend was updated to use modern SAF, the Storage Access Framework.

No Internet, ever. There is no INTERNET permission, so the operating system prevents app from accessing the Internet. Any synchronization is handled by other applications of your choice, Syncthing (Syncthing fork) recommended. You can also use the app completely offline. Also, all networking related code was removed from the app.

0x54ask is Free, Open Source Software under GPL 3 license. I used new name and app id for 0x54ask, while also giving credit to upstreams of this fork. This way, upstream gets credit for their work, but not reports for my bugs.

Background

The original SimpleTask Cloudless aka simpletask-android was developed by Mark Janssen. The original is now archived and removed from F-Droid. The design and UI felt great, and I could not find an alternative that could compete.

0x54ask is a fork of willemw12/simpletask-android by Willem W, a fork of the original SimpleTask. Forking made sense, since some of the changes were large (SAF backend), some removed code (networking), and a key promise is not necessarily shared (no Internet access, and no plans to add it). Like original SimpleTask, willemw12 fork still asked for access to all files and photos on the phone. The fork had many improvements over the original, so it felt like a good starting point.

Artificial intelligence was used to help create the improvements after forking.

The task format is todo.txt by Gina Trapani. Todo.txt works well with calendar.txt.

Foggy Maps is a personal exploration map. The whole world starts hidden under a semi-transparent violet fog; as you physically move, the fog dissipates along your path, permanently, with soft dithered edges. The filled-in map becomes a lifetime record of where you have been.

It is not a social network. Your location data stays on your device and moves only where you explicitly send it. Logging, fog clearing and rendering all work offline, and the app asks for nothing on first launch: the map opens fogged, and each permission is requested at the moment you switch the feature on.

Features:

* Live GPS fog clearing on a pixel-art top-down map. The reveal radius follows the fix's own reported accuracy, nudged by the terrain under it, so a precise fix marks a small disc and a vague one is thrown away.
* Dithered gradient fog drawn by a GPU shader, pixel-locked at every zoom.

* Optional WebDAV backup to your own Nextcloud, on startup, daily and on demand. Off until you configure a server.
* Landmark and badge packs are plain JSON, loadable at runtime with no app update.

Online OpenStreetMap data (the OpenFreeMap basemap, Overpass for terrain and place names) is on by default and can be turned off in settings; with it off, the app makes no network requests. While it is on, the app fetches public map data for the area you visit, which discloses your rough location to those servers, and caches it on the device. Both endpoints can be pointed at a server of your own.

Schussel is German for a scatterbrained, forgetful person: the one who drives off with the lights still on. This app is the antidote. You build a checklist, tie it to a Bluetooth device (typically your car), and when your phone connects, Schussel nags you only if you left something unticked.

You keep one or more checklists. Each list is linked to the Bluetooth device(s) that should trigger it. When your phone connects to a linked device:

* if everything on that list is ticked, you get silence;
* if anything is still unticked, you get a reminder naming exactly what you forgot.

It works even when the app is closed, and optionally sounds an alarm that repeats until you dismiss it.

Features:

* Optional daily reset (per list) — automatically untick everything at a time you choose, with a live "resets in HH:MM" countdown. Lists without a reset time keep their state.
* All data stays on your device — no network, no accounts, no analytics.

How it works:

1. Tap Add list and add the items you tend to forget.

Adaptive Theme switches Android's system-wide theme between light and dark mode according to the ambient light sensor instead of relying on sunset or a fixed schedule. Use light mode in bright surroundings and dark mode in low light, with the threshold under your control.

Efficient by design

The sensor is sampled briefly after the screen turns on rather than monitored continuously. Before changing the theme, Adaptive Theme checks that the sensor is not covered by a hand or pocket. Theme changes therefore happen at screen-on and do not interrupt you while you are actively using another app.

One-time setup

Android does not normally allow regular apps to change protected system settings such as the system theme. Adaptive Theme therefore needs a one-time grant of the WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS permission. This permission does not grant root access or allow the app to read personal data. Adaptive Theme uses it only to switch the light and dark system theme, and it is revoked when the app is uninstalled.

The guided setup offers several options:

WebADB through a simple website on a computer or secondary Android device, without installing ADB

Shizuku and compatible Shizuku forks, required only once while granting the permission

AudioLex trains the understanding of spoken words for the case where hearing and understanding come apart: the sound arrives, but it is no longer reliably decoded as speech. That happens after one-sided hearing loss, and a hearing aid alone does not fix it — it makes things louder, not clearer. The path from sound to word has to be practised again.

Two modes, both aimed at the same thing:

Learning mode — a word is played with its text visible. This builds the link between what arrives and what it means.

Exam mode — the word is played, the card stays covered. You rate yourself. That rating decides when the word comes back: after a minute, after ten, after a day, a week or a month.

92 words and sentences are included: 72 in German — 68 from free speech synthesis, four spoken by real voices — and 20 in English. Which language you train is a setting of its own, separate from the language of the interface. Your own recordings can be added: speak a word or sentence, write it down, train it. Several speakers can be kept apart and switched on or off individually — a familiar voice is a different exercise from a stranger's.

For harder practice, put a background noise under the speech and set the distance between the two in decibels. Three levels do it in one tap: easy without noise, hard with a clear speech advantage, advanced with the noise above the speech. One noise is included, recorded inside a bus. Your own can be recorded or imported as WAV files.

For headphone training there is a channel choice — left, right or both — which helps when only one ear should be trained. Over a Bluetooth hearing aid, stereo is summed to mono; the app detects this and shows the channel choice as ineffective instead of pretending otherwise.

What AudioLex does not do: it requests no internet permission, has no account, no trackers, no ads. Vocabulary, ratings and session history stay on the device — not as a promise, but because the app has no technical way to send anything. A backup writes your own recordings, your own noises and the session history to a ZIP file in your documents when you ask it to. What happens to that file afterwards is up to you.

AudioLex is a practice tool, not a medical product. It replaces neither an audiologist's advice nor an ENT examination.

The app was built for one person with exactly this problem. It shows: it is plain, and it does not explain itself — the short guide inside is where it tries. The interface speaks German or English, switchable on the start screen.

Roue Libre shows bike-share stations on a map and computes a door-to-door journey combining walking and cycling.

Everything runs on the device: the map, the address search and the route computation need no connection at all. Only real-time bike availability goes out on the network.

What sets it apart

• No Google service: no Play Services, no Firebase, no Maps SDK. It runs on any Android OS without Google services.
• No telemetry, no tracker, no unique identifier, no account.
• No journey data kept: no history, no positions, no destinations. What you search for does not leave the phone.
• No city is imposed: several conurbations coexist on the device, and one city's data can be deleted without touching the others.
• The journey optimises the pair of stations — departure and arrival — rather than settling for the nearest, and weighs the risk of a poorly stocked station emptying while you walk to it.

Worth knowing before installing

The map, the routing graph and the address index are not in the application: they are downloaded once, from the storage screen, or installed by hand from files you produce yourself. Their weight follows the city — a few tens of megabytes for a medium-sized conurbation, more for a capital — and it is announced before downloading.

The cities served

Close to three hundred networks, in some thirty countries: every one that publishes its stations as open data and whose docks the journey can rely on — from Vélib' in Paris to Citi Bike in New York, by way of Prague, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Tokyo and Buenos Aires. The application proposes yours from your position, if you ask it to, and you can keep several installed and switch between them.

The offline datasets have been produced for a handful of them so far. For the others, the application says so rather than pretending: the list shows what exists, and the files can be produced with the repository's scripts.

It is tied to no network in particular: the list of cities updates itself, and every city carries the address of its own GBFS feed, which makes the application usable with any GBFS network in the world.

Android apps love opening links in an in-app browser: a bare little window
inside the app, with one page, no tabs, no extensions, no history, and nothing
left when you close it.

This app sends those links to your real browser instead.

Set it as your default browser, then open it once to pick which of your
installed browsers links should go to. From then on, every link an app hands to
the system arrives in the browser you actually use, with your bookmarks, your
logins and your content blocker.

That is the whole app. There are no settings beyond that one choice. It has no
network access of its own, and contains no analytics, no advertising and no
tracking. It never loads a page: it passes the link on and gets out of the way.

One limit worth knowing about. Some apps do not hand the link to the system at
all and draw the page themselves. Facebook and Instagram are the usual
examples. Nothing installed on the device can redirect those, this app
included.

independently, and the two gesture streams merge into one word.

Typing "something": the left thumb taps S, then E, while the right thumb
swipes O -> M and then T -> H -> I -> N -> G. The streams are merged by
timestamp into S + OM + E + THING.

It is a spiritual successor to the discontinued Nintype, written from scratch
on Android's public IME APIs - not a fork, and with no third-party gesture or
prediction library. The dynamic time warping, the trie search, the path
resampling and the dual-stream merge are all in the app, so every constant is
understood and tunable.

The manifest declares no INTERNET permission. Nothing you type can leave the
device, because there is no code path that could send it. Decoding, prediction
and learning are local, the personal dictionary is on-device storage only, and
password or private fields switch off suggestions, trails and learning.

Gravel is a de-googled and hardened fork of the Pebble mobile app by Core Devices, for managing Pebble and Core Devices smartwatches on GrapheneOS, LineageOS, and other phones without google play services or Firebase.

The watch features of the official app are all here: pairing and reconnection, notifications, calendar, music, health, and weather on the watch, watchface and app gallery browsing, firmware updates, and voice dictation. What is gone is the google plumbing and the reporting built around it: no play services, no Firebase, no telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporting. (The one casualty is the official app's battery analytics page, which was rendered by the telemetry server and so has no data source here. The Pebble Index 01 ring and Index AI features do not function for now, because of how heavily they rely on telemetry and Firebase; work on a way to incorporate them is ongoing.)

On top of the de-Googling, Gravel tightens the app's own security posture:
- Per-app permissions for watchapps' companion code: internet and phone location are denied by default and granted per app, and revoking a permission applies to running watchapps immediately
- The app's exported Android interfaces are authorization-gated or removed
- Plain-HTTP (cleartext) traffic is blocked app-wide
- Core watch firmware updates are fetched from the public PebbleOS releases and integrity-verified before install
- On-device voice dictation with the whisper.cpp speech engine, built from source; the speech model is an optional, integrity-pinned download you start yourself
- Optional dictation through your own transcription server over https: a self-signed certificate is pinned on first use once you have compared its fingerprint, and a certificate from a CA the phone trusts is accepted as elsewhere on the phone; nothing is sent unless you configure one
- Manual latitude/longitude entry replaces the play-services place search for weather
- App store searches leave the phone only when you tap search, never while you type, and are sent with Algolia's query analytics and personalization switched off and no user token

Some watchapps and watchfaces need internet or your location to work, and they will not function fully until you grant them access. That is deliberate: Gravel puts the decision in your hands rather than trusting every watchapp by default.

The app talks to the Core Devices and Rebble web services (app store, weather, timeline, notification icons, language packs), to Algolia, which hosts the app store's search index, whenever you search the store, to the PebbleOS release feed on GitHub for firmware, and to the speech model host when you download a model; there is no google endpoint. Two hosts are yours to choose: an app store source you add yourself is fetched only after you confirm it, with no account token and no search traffic, and a transcription server you configure receives your dictation audio and nothing else.

Permissions Gravel asks for are the ones the watch features need: Bluetooth and location for finding and staying connected to the watch (background location so location-based watchapps and weather keep working while the app is not open), notification access to forward notifications, contacts, call log, and phone state for caller names and call control on the watch, calendar for timeline pins, Health Connect write access to sync the watch's health data, and the list of installed apps for per-app notification settings. Each is requested when the corresponding feature is first set up.

Adiresy is a native Android client for Adiresy, an unofficial addressing service for Madagascar.

Madagascar has no formal street-addressing system in most areas. Every building can still get a short, permanent code anchored to GPS coordinates (for example 101-6EAR-50418). This app lets people find, share, and navigate to those codes — working on low-end phones, and, progressively, fully offline.

Codes have no legal value. Adiresy is an unofficial, community-driven addressing layer, not a government service.

What it shows
• In Carranza: Weather, Field, Hunting and Beekeeping.
• Away from the valley: current, hourly and weekly forecasts, air quality when data is available, and rain radar for the current location.
• Measured AEMET warnings for the valley, with their own channel so they are not repeated.
• The hunting section is informational only. It is not a hunting permit and it does not replace any official licence.
• Home-screen widget and periodic sync, both exclusively for Carranza.
• Optional beach camera (La Salvé) resolved from a public stream page.

Location and privacy
• Only ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION is requested to centre the forecast and radar. The app does not request precise or background location, does not track continuously, and does not integrate Google location services.
• It accepts a last known location no more than 10 minutes old or performs a point-in-time update, without continuous tracking, under an original 12-second deadline. If the activity resumes before it expires, the listener may be registered again only for the remaining time; the deadline is not reset.
• An approximate 15 km geofence around Carranza selects the content: four sections inside and Weather only outside. Without permission or a position, the app uses Carranza and keeps all four sections.
• Coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo for forecasts and air quality. When the radar is opened, the visible area is converted to tiles for RainViewer and OpenStreetMap.
• Coordinates are not stored in Room. The visitor snapshot exists only in process memory and disappears when the process closes. Room, periodic sync and the widget remain restricted to Carranza so visitor data cannot be labelled as valley data.
• The current version uses an approximate geofence and does not look up a locality name.

Where the data comes from
• Away from Carranza it uses Open-Meteo, Open-Meteo/Copernicus air quality when data is available, and RainViewer for radar. Local valley sources are hidden.
• In Carranza, forecasts, warnings, air and tides use Open-Meteo, AEMET and IHM directly. Those requests do not go through nomad.
• Hunting seasons, the valley Bresser station and the Cerroja ridge reading need nomad.debian.link. Without that service those sections stay empty or show a network error (F-Droid TetheredNet). The app does not invent a temperature to fill the gap.

No client token or Euskalmet key is baked into the package. A release build only needs the Android SDK path.

Under test conditions, this approach reduces temporal misalignment across recordings to within 52 samples at 48 kHz (approx. 42 µs) and estimates inter-device distances to within 14mm.

Markdown (and Org) graph on disk. It aims to feel like — and round-trip with —

About the permissions Tine asks for:

All files access — Tine edits an ordinary folder of Markdown files that you
choose and keep wherever you like: a Syncthing folder, an SD card, a shared
Documents directory. Android's restricted storage model offers no way to grant
an app read-write access to a tree of plain files that other apps also write
to, so full file access is what makes a real on-disk graph possible. Tine
touches only the graph folder you point it at.

Network access — Tine has no accounts, no server of its own, and no sync
service; it does not phone home and collects no analytics. The permission is
used only to load remote content that is already in your own notes: images and
media you linked by https:// URL, and embedded YouTube or Vimeo players if you
paste such a link. If nothing in your notes points at a remote URL, Tine makes
no network requests of its own. The F-Droid build additionally has the online
plugin catalogue compiled out, so plugins and themes can only be installed from
local files.

DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION — this one is not really Tine's. It is
added automatically by Google's AndroidX libraries, it is declared by the app on
itself at signature protection level, and it grants nothing to anyone: it exists
so those libraries can keep their internal broadcast receivers private to the
app rather than exposing them to other apps. It shows up in the list because
F-Droid displays every permission found in the manifest.

Early release: predictions are experimental — always cross-check
times and connections with DB's official apps.

BayesianBahn predicts when you will actually arrive — as a full
probability distribution, not a single number.

Enter where you start, where you want to go and when (also future trips):
the app searches direct trains and journeys with one change — routes
needing two or more changes are not covered yet, so it will sometimes
find fewer connections than DB's own apps. For each option it shows:

* the median predicted arrival time at your destination,
* an 80% credible interval,
* the full delay distribution as a chart,
* the probability of catching each connecting train,
* a Deutschland-Ticket filter that keeps you on regional trains.

Transfers are propagated with Bayes' theorem: you board the first
connecting train that has not left yet — so a delayed earlier train
counts as catchable, and a missed connection honestly shifts the whole
distribution. Live station boards and per-train predictions (including
cancellation rates) are also available.

Predictions are empirical: they come from months of real historical runs
of that exact train at that station (collected from Deutsche Bahn's
public IRIS API, CC BY 4.0), reweighted for recency and weekday. When
DB reports an actual delay the forecast is anchored on it; when it
reports nothing — which it does for most trains until shortly before
departure — the history is left to speak for itself, which measurably
beats treating the timetable as a forecast. Delay history updates
in-app — a small daily data release keeps predictions fresh to within a
day. Trains without history get an honest Bayesian prior estimate.

The app talks only to the keyless public IRIS timetable endpoint and the
project's own data releases, needs no account, no API key, no Google
services, and collects no data.

Bike Radar

Bike Radar shows and sounds what your rear bike radar sees, on top of whatever app you are already running.

A thin strip down the edge of the screen shows each approaching vehicle's distance, closing speed and lateral position over your map or navigation app. Tiered beeps rise as the closest vehicle gets nearer, and a distinct urgent tone fires when an impact looks imminent - including while you are rolling slowly toward a junction with a fast vehicle behind. A clear chime sounds when the radar no longer sees vehicles behind.

Everything runs on your phone: no account, no cloud, no analytics. The optional Home Assistant integration publishes ride stats to your own server and nowhere else. Another app on your phone can ask to use your radar, and nothing reaches it until you allow it on a screen naming the app; that handover happens on the device, app to app.

Requires a supported rear radar paired over Bluetooth (pair it once in system Settings) and Android 12 or newer. There is no standard Bluetooth profile for bike radars, so support is per model; the compatibility list on the project's source page says which units work, and the list is short.

A radar that reports distance only is expected to get the approach beeps, the all-clear and an overlay coloured by distance; the per-vehicle speed and side readouts, the urgent tone and close-pass counting need one that also reports closing speed and lateral position. The radar, camera and eBike integrations degrade gracefully: each works without the others.

Bike Radar is a riding aid, not a safety guarantee. It supplements your own attention and mirrors - it never replaces them.

Argus is a Tasker-class automation app where a large language model is the compiler, not the executor.

You describe a rule in plain language — "every day at 9 send me the BTC price", "when I leave home turn off Wi-Fi", "if an OTP arrives, copy it to the clipboard". The model compiles your request into a structured, typed rule (trigger, conditions, actions). You review it rendered from the types — never from the model's paraphrase — and approve a byte-stable SHA-256 fingerprint of the executable data. From then on a deterministic engine runs the rule: OS alarms, system receivers, geofences, the notification listener. The model is never in the execution loop, except for actions you explicitly mark as generative.

Why this matters:

* Predictable — the rule that fires at 3 a.m. is exactly the one you approved, byte for byte.
* Auditable — every run is logged locally, without personal content.
* Private by design — no Argus-operated backend or account, no telemetry and no analytics. Rules, logs and encrypted API keys stay on your phone; only the provider or self-hosted bridge you explicitly configure receives compile/generative requests.

The language-model transport is pluggable: run a self-hosted bridge, or connect directly to a provider you choose. A base tier works with no elevated privileges; for system-level actions Argus can use Shizuku.

Note: connecting a proprietary provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) is optional — Argus can instead use a self-hosted bridge together with its on-device deterministic actions.

No account. No sign-up. No server of ours. No analytics, no ads, no tracking of any kind. Your sessions, your records and the GPS trace of an expedition live in a database on your device and nowhere else. Uninstalling the app destroys every record it ever made.

One exception, off by default: the map behind an expedition's route. Switched on in Settings, the phone asks OpenFreeMap (OpenStreetMap data, served from tiles.openfreemap.org) for tiles, the square images a map is made of, covering the place where you went. That request tells the host roughly where you were, with your IP address and the time. Not the route to the metre, not the pace, not the training, not who you are, but the area, yes. Off, or switched off again with one tap, the route is drawn on a plain background and the app makes no network request at all. No other part of the app is allowed to open a connection: a lint rule fails the build if a network call appears anywhere in the code.

Location is read only while an expedition is running, by a GPS module written for this app against Android's own location service. No Google Play Services, no third-party SDK, nothing that phones home.

The map is the one switch, and it starts off. Everything else above is the architecture, checked at build time.

BODYWEIGHT FIRST
The exercise catalogue is built around what you can do with no equipment, and adapts if you own some. Warm-ups are dynamic and scaled to the session in front of you, because a five-minute warm-up before a six-minute workout is a warm-up nobody does twice.

Privacy Kit Lite

Privacy Kit Lite is the public, local-only edition of Privacy Kit. It lets you create reusable profiles for apps and configure supported Android identifier values for LSPosed runtime hooks.

Supported modes include real values, static generated-once values, and manually entered custom values. Supported identifiers include Android ID, Advertising ID replies, selected device identity fields, Wi-Fi identifiers, and basic telephony identifiers.

Profiles stay on the device and are shared only through LSPosed local RemotePreferences. The app has no INTERNET permission and includes no telemetry, analytics, ads, crash reporting, update checks, accounts, or remote configuration.

Privacy Kit Lite requires Android 8.0 or newer and an LSPosed-compatible framework. Identifier replacement is best-effort and does not provide app or device isolation.

Tickdroid is an Android companion app to the Nextcloud daily habit tracker application Tickbuddy. Please note that Tickdroid cannot be used as a standalone application, as it relies on the Tickbuddy/Nextcloud back-end.

The application enables users to record whether a specific event has occurred or not on daily basis. The events can be arbitrary habits or occurrences such as doing sports, smoking, taking out trash, etc. These events are tracked over time, and longer term statistics and patterns can be analysed. The idea is to encourage healthy habits, get over bad ones, or simply to keep track of things over time.

SponsorBlock segment skipping is enabled by default and may contact SponsorBlock during playback; users can disable it in Settings. Return YouTube Dislike may be contacted when player engagement details are displayed. Levyra also reads public files from GitHub. From raw.githubusercontent.com it loads the open editorial catalog, the community Canvas catalog, and the YouTube playback configuration published by the ZemerTeam/zemer-cipher project; the editorial catalog and the playback configuration are requested during ordinary startup and playback, without any user action. From github.com it loads the author avatar shown on the App page. These third-party services receive ordinary network information such as the device IP address.

The F-Droid build is compiled entirely from the public source. It disables Levyra's GitHub self-updater and remote announcement feed; updates are delivered by F-Droid. The F-Droid build uses the source-built OkHttp playback transport and does not bundle Chromium Cronet.

Solid Share brings the Solid ecosystem to everyday Android users. Sign in with your Solid pod and use it as a personal data wallet: browse and manage your files, keep your address book and your tickets and passes on it, and share any of it with the people you choose.

Solid is an open web standard for personal data stores, called pods. Your pod is yours — pick a provider or run your own. Solid Share has no server of its own: the app talks to your pod directly, and nothing you store passes through us.

The responsive Home panel combines a preview of up to five to-dos with eight configurable icon shortcuts. Magic Box commands:

• @ — choose a contact, then send carrier SMS or hand the message to an integrated messaging app
• # — choose a contact, confirm, then call or choose a calling provider

• / — create a multiline note through an installed notes app

• ? — find and immediately launch an installed app
• Plain text — search local filenames, open a web search, or hand the query to a selected compatible AI app

To-dos can be added, checked, edited, confirmed before deletion, and reordered by drag. Local file results are grouped into photos, videos, documents, and audio, with thumbnails where Android provides them. Document search uses only folders you explicitly select through Android's system folder picker.

Optional spaces remain one swipe away:

• Conversations groups active Android message and email notifications into compact threads. Inline reply is offered only when the originating app supplies Android’s reply action, and content remains transient in memory.
• Mink’s Day measures foreground time and launch counts for the Android Social-category apps or custom apps the user chooses to include. Set a collective limit from 0 to 23 whole hours, then pause those apps in MinkLauncher all the time, only after the limit, or never. Paused apps are hidden from Magic Box and app drawers while shortcut tiles remain visible with a reminder. This is a launcher barrier, not a system app suspension or parental-control feature. Other apps never enter Mink’s Day totals.
• Widgets hosts up to four Android widgets with grouped provider previews, correct responsive sizing, reordering, and removal.

When another app requests Add to Home screen, MinkLauncher can place its shortcut in a Home slot or Top 8. Choose a stable full page or a faster confirmation sheet in Settings. Legacy shortcut requests are also supported for older apps and devices.

Integrated messaging:

• Choose System Messages or an installed supported messaging app in Settings
• Send automatically with that app, or choose an app for each one-time @ message
• Supported deep links carry the contact and message when the receiving app allows it
• Other integrations carry the message and let you choose the contact in the receiving app
• Returning to Mink keeps your selected contact and message until you send or clear it
• Conversation replies still use the reply action supplied by the notification’s source app

Privacy is a core feature:

• No accounts, ads, analytics, trackers, or application server
• An optional, twice-daily GitHub release-metadata check shows a clear update card and a persistent Home header icon; GitHub receives normal connection metadata but no launcher content, and the app never downloads or installs APKs

Pause adds a short, timed pause before you open the apps you choose. When you launch a selected app, the screen is covered by a panel with a countdown. Only after it finishes can you choose Open anyway or Cancel. It turns an automatic tap into a deliberate choice. It is friction, not a hard block.

The pause screen also shows how many times you have opened that app in the last 24 hours and when you last opened it.

Features:

* Timed pause: a short countdown before the app opens, with a length you choose.
* Per app: pick which apps get a pause; everything else opens normally.
* Open count: see how many times you have opened that app in the last 24 hours.
* Adjustable: set the pause length, a custom message, and whether the countdown is shown.
* Local stats: per-app pauses, opens, and cancels, plus total time paused.
* No network access: everything stays on your phone. No account, no analytics. The app cannot reach the internet.

How it works:

Pause uses an Accessibility Service to detect when a chosen app opens and an accessibility overlay to draw the pause screen, so it needs no "draw over other apps" permission. An accessibility-based gate is best-effort, not a hard block: it is meant to make impulsive opens deliberate, not to be tamper-proof.

Check your phone first:

Recent Android versions may already do this. Android 17's Pause Point adds a built-in delay before selected apps on some Pixel and Samsung phones, and Digital Wellbeing offers app timers and Focus mode. If your phone has those, prefer them. Pause is for older devices, custom ROMs, and phones that ship without Google's Digital Wellbeing.

* An untrusted store-and-forward relay carries offline delivery only. Any relay ever holds nothing but opaque, already-encrypted blobs under unlinkable handles — no keys, no plaintext, no identities, no logs.
* Authorization before the first message: a stranger cannot message you until you approve them (scan a pre-authorized QR, or exchange a short code whose secret words block a man-in-the-middle).
* Safety-number verification (scan or compare) to confirm no one is in the middle.
* User-owned encrypted backups: the recovery password is generated on your device, shown once, and never sent to any server. Lose it and the backup is unrecoverable — by design.
* No analytics, no crash reporters, no ad SDKs, no Google Play Services, and no third-party push service.
* No automatic update check on F-Droid installs. Headphones die. Before they do, ylih answers the only question that really matters about a pair: how many hours did you get out of them?

Every time your headphones connect, ylih writes down when. Every time they disconnect, it writes down when. That is the whole idea — and because a connection is just two timestamps, the app does not need to run in the background to do it.

WHAT IT TRACKS

• Lifetime hours per physical pair. When a pair dies, retire it — the total freezes, and the next pair of the same model starts again at zero as generation 2. Your old numbers are never mixed in with the new ones.
• Every session, kept permanently: connected at, disconnected at, and why it ended.
• Playback time (optional): how much of that connected time was actually playing audio, so "worn around my neck" doesn't count as listening.
• Cost per hour, if you enter what you paid. It is a satisfying number to watch fall.

TWO TRACKING MODES

Bluetooth only — the default. Nothing of the app runs, nothing sits in your notification shade, and there is no battery cost, because Android delivers connection events to the app even while it is closed.

Detailed tracking — optional. Adds wired and USB headphones, and measures playback versus connected time. It needs one silent, minimum-priority notification, because Android only reports wired plug events to an app that is already running. That, and nothing else, is why the notification exists.

Bluetooth is tracked either way.

NUMBERS YOU CAN TRUST YEARS LATER

Long-term totals are worthless if a crash or a reboot quietly adds twelve hours. So:

• A session left open by a reboot or a crash is closed at its last known heartbeat, never later than the moment the phone booted. Time the phone spent switched off is never counted.
• If your headphones are still connected after a reboot, a fresh session starts rather than the old one being stretched across the gap.
• Sessions are heartbeated while open, so the damage from a missed disconnect is bounded.

PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION

ylih has no internet permission. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking. Everything lives in a database on your phone — the only thing that can copy it off the device is Android's own backup, if you have that switched on.

Settings → Export writes your whole history as readable JSON, and Import restores it, so moving to a new phone never costs you your numbers.

PERMISSIONS

• Nearby devices (Bluetooth): required to receive connection events and read a headset's name. Without it, Bluetooth tracking cannot work at all.
• Notifications: only for the detailed-tracking notification.
• Run at startup: to close sessions the shutdown never reported.

This app mirrors a second Android device on your phone or tablet over Wireless
ADB, the same way the desktop scrcpy tool does.

The device running this app is the source; the target is any Android 11+ device
with Wireless Debugging enabled. Video, audio, touch, key input, and clipboard
are forwarded between them. No root is required on either side.

FAQ

Will an iOS version be available?
No. Due to technical limitations, iOS does not allow third-party apps to write to the SMS database.

Why export to SMS?
SMS is a universal, device-native format. By converting chat histories to SMS, you get a durable, open-standard backup that isn't locked into a single proprietary app.

Why the name?
The name stands for Instant Messenger to SMS. It reflects the app’s broad support for multiple IM platforms beyond just WhatsApp.

Can group chats be imported?
There is basic support for importing group chats, however, there are significant limitations due to how Android and apps like Google Messages handle the legacy SMS/MMS storage. At present, there is no way for third-party apps to programmatically set a group chat name in the system's SMS database that Google Messages will recognise, so the chat name will typically appear as a list of participant numbers. Additionally, a "Mass Text" warning may show if Google Messages cannot verify that all participants are using modern RCS (Rich Communication Services). To fully continue a group chat as a single thread, all members must be using RCS. Once everyone is on RCS, the group chat should automatically "upgrade" and function as a normal group thread.

Can I use IM2SMS to back up my existing SMS messages?
No. The core purpose of IM2SMS is to import Instant Messenger chat histories into the phone's SMS storage. Creating backups of existing SMS messages is already well-supported by other dedicated apps.

Why does the app have to be set as the default SMS app?
Android only allows the current default SMS app to write to the system's message database. To import chats, IM2SMS must temporarily become the default app. After the import process completes, opening the preferred messaging app provides a prompt to restore it as the default.

FreeProxy turns any SOCKS5 or HTTP CONNECT proxy into a system-wide VPN on Android.

Traffic from every app — or only the apps you pick — is captured by VpnService as raw IP packets, reassembled into TCP/UDP sessions in userspace, and forwarded through your upstream proxy. Apps with no proxy support of their own end up going through it anyway.

There is no NDK code and no bundled tun2socks binary: the TCP/IP stack is written in plain Kotlin.

Known limits

IPv4 only. ICMP cannot be carried by proxy protocols, so ping inside the tunnel will not work. Proxy credentials are stored unencrypted in the app's private directory (excluded from cloud backup). Per-app attribution in the log requires Android 10 or newer.

FreeProxy does not provide any proxy servers. You bring your own.

There is no server and no account. The phone in your pocket does the
checking, and your API tokens and target URLs never leave the device.

Three kinds of monitor:
- Status check: hit a URL, assert on the status code.
- Request and response: pick the method, set headers and a body, assert
on what comes back (contains, equals, regex, or a JSON field by path).

Clockwork: 2FA Authenticator

Clockwork is a two-factor authenticator (2FA) that generates TOTP codes entirely on your device. It declares no INTERNET permission at all — the app cannot open a connection, and you can check that in the manifest before you believe a word of this.

That is the difference. Most authenticator apps hold network access for sync, service icons or update checks. Clockwork does not have the permission, so the question never comes up.

WHAT IT DOES
• Generates TOTP codes (RFC 6238) — SHA-1, SHA-256 or SHA-512, 6 to 8 digits, any period.
• Add accounts the way you happen to have them: scan a QR code, import a QR image, paste an otpauth:// link, or type a Base32 secret. A full Google Authenticator export is converted automatically.
• A dial with 30 marks and a moving hand shows the time left — a position you read at a glance, not a shrinking bar.
• One tap copies the code, and the next one is on screen before it becomes valid.
• Broken input is explained line by line, never silently swallowed.

YOUR SECRETS STAY YOURS
• By default nothing is stored at all. Close the app and the secrets are gone.
• Switch the vault on and they stay here, encrypted with your passphrase: AES-256-GCM, key derived by PBKDF2-SHA-256 with 600,000 iterations. Only the sealed envelope is written to disk — never the plaintext, never the passphrase, never the derived key.
• Unlock with your fingerprint if you want to. The passphrase stays the only way back in.
• Locks automatically after a time you choose and when you leave the app. Screenshots and preview images can be blocked.
• Android backup is switched off, so the encrypted vault never leaves the device.

PRIVACY
Nothing is collected, because there is nowhere for it to go. No analytics, no telemetry, no update pings, no advertising identifiers, no accounts, no ads. The camera permission serves the QR scanner alone and is declared optional hardware — importing a QR image works without it.

BUILT TO BE CHECKED

Terminator is a Terminal emulator, offering comprehensive terminal emulator support with multi-session support you can directly customize and control. Its main purpose is a terminal emulation suitable for daily use. The main difference from other Terminator apps is only in the interface area — embedded terminal colors and a completely compact interface. It does not offer a ready-made chroot/proot environment; that infrastructure is left to the users. Supports Android.

Features

Material user interface, supporting all color mappings in its own color interface.

AMOLED black support and dynamic color material support in the terminal. If you want to keep it simple, just enter the RGB color code — custom CSS terminal color support is also offered. Comes with color palettes including default, solarized dark, gruvbox dark, dracula, nord, but you can configure the palettes yourself. Termcolor support is also offered.

Multi-session support: create multiple sessions, choose default or favorite. There is support for file-based session or command-arg session. In session command-arg, you directly specify the executable to be built. If using root, you can activate the root session without /system/bin/su, specify the login path and directory path that creates the startup directory, and start the terminal through the session set as default. The file-based method works the same way: specify the shell script file name and path, specify the directory to be created, and run it with the login path while activating the root session. But if you specify a chroot or proot-like environment as an argument, the starting directory may not work — only valid for arguments that support an entry path. There is a purge setting in "clear," determining whether old data in the pty buffer is actually cleared. The validity of chroot in proot-like environments is variable.

Resizing terminal size based on text size, terminal width, or temporary session zoom is supported. Alpha is supported with terminal background and background blur. Font support includes monospace, sans, mono, serif, and embedded fonts, plus custom TTF/OTF fonts — pinch-to-zoom can be toggled on or off (on by default).

Ringtone support included; choose a custom or default notification sound.

Hide or show the status bar and title bar. Horizontal orientation mode is supported. Export the terminal session as a .txt file and determine whether the save button appears in the bar. The split-screen visibility toggle turns on/off buttons enabling split-screen and float-screen switching. "Broadcast to all panes" lets you enter text or commands into more than one session at once, across split-screen and float-screen. "Clear session" behavior is managed with a toggle, hiding the button when off but clearing all sessions when on.

Soft keyboard (tap to open/close terminal) and virtual key (keybar) are supported. Login modes include:

Default — compatible with all IMEs, including CJK input, solid terminal

Semantically correct — may break some IMEs

Old workaround — fixes Samsung keyboard echo, could break Gboard

CJK input — supported, but default is recommended

3 terminal types are supported:

xterm-256color — recommended

VT100 — color support is limited and won't work even without a terminfo entry

ANSI — color support, but compatible with DOS

Control whether soft keyboard, virtual keybar, and keymapper appear, each with its own toggle.

Keyboard shortcuts and keymapper support let you assign or map virtual keyboard actions from a physical keyboard. Seccomp support is available to resolve "operation not permitted" errors, and there are more features.

It works offline, has no ads and no account of its own, and asks for nothing beyond the server you point it at.

POST-QUANTUM ENCRYPTION
Protect your data against "harvest now, decrypt later" attacks. AgePony generates quantum-safe hybrid keys (ML-KEM-768 combined with X25519) that stay secure even against a future quantum computer, while staying fully interoperable with the age command-line tool. Anything encrypted to a quantum-safe recipient is clearly badged, so you always know the protection you are using.

WHY AGEPONY
